The University and Academic Competence Centers IN EUROPE, THE MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA
The SAP University Alliances program in the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) has established University Competence Centers (UCCs) and Academic Competence Centers (ACCs) to eliminate the need for individual universities to make large investments in technical infrastructure and operational staffing.

SAP UCC Magdeburg has been hosting SAP solutions for research and teaching since 2000. Initially providing services for German institutions of higher education and vocational schools, in 2007 they expanded to include other in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) region. Today, over 200 UA members Magdeburg's UCC services including universities in South Africa, Russia, Norway, Egypt, and other countries.

SAP UCC Munich started in 2003 and is hosting SAP solutions for over 110 customers located in Germany, Ireland, UK, Bulgaria and Romania. Above that the SAP UCC Munich provides application support for all hosted solutions as well as educational services in different areas. It is based at the Technische Universität München.

The SAP ACC in southern Switzerland is providing customer help and application support in French, German and English.
