Rumors swirled about SAP's Java strategy at Teched 2010, particularly the future of Web Dynpro Java and Visual Composer. To get some background on the story, I sat down with fellow SAP Mentor Karin Tillitson and SAP's Yariv Zur, SAP Product Manager for UI Technologies. Karin and Juriv discuss the dialogue with SAP and its customers on Java and the latest news.
New Web Dynpro Java Demo Kit Available!
The new Web Dynpro Java demo kit provides a comprehensive overview about the capabilities available within Web Dynpro for Java. It consists of 20 tutorials, several demo applications and a portal-like shell application which offers additional functionality. Features based on SAP NetWeaver CE 7.11, SAP NetWeaver CE 7.20 and also on TomCat will be shown. Please give your feedback in the Web Dynpro Java forum.
