SAP NetWeaver CE Sample Application Description - Customer Service Care (PDF 438 KB)
This documentation provides information about the SAP NetWeaver CE sample application Customer Service Care (CSC). This scenario shows the concepts and benefits of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) with the help of a practical example. It explains the installation, configuration and use of the Customer Service Care scenario.
SAP NetWeaver CE Customer Service Care Sample Application (ZIP 9 MB)
Download here the files for deploying the Customer Service Care scenario that runs on SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment 7.1 SR3 (SP4 & SP5). This scenario demonstrates the end-to-end development of a composite application from scratch. It reuses back-end services and data, at the same time adding its own business logic to flexibly implement a specific business process. The application shows how you can easily enhance the collaborative workflow by adding offline form-based steps and involving additional contributors. In the documentation (link above) you can find a basic overview of the example applications and instructions how to configure and run the application. The offline part based on interactive forms by Adobe cannot be executed by the evaluation version.
SAP NetWeaver CE Sample Application Description - Project and Skill Management (PDF 367 KB)
This tutorial describes the SAP NetWeaver CE sample application Project and Skill Management (xEDM). It's in PDF format and explains the installation, configuration and use of the xEDM sample application.
SAP NetWeaver CE Project and Skill Management Sample Application (ZIP 3 MB)
Get here the material for deploying the Project Skill and Management scenario, it runs on SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment 7.1 SR3 (SP4 & SP5). The scenario shows how to design a composite process on top of a Java EE application. The Project and Skill Management scenario allows a manager to search for a project by various criteria, then the system defines the missing skills, the manager chooses an event from the available courses, and assigns an employee to join. After logging on to the system, the employee books an event from the available courses. Finally the team manager approves/rejects the training, registers the training, and the employee is notified by e-mail.
