SAP NetWeaver 7.0

SAP NetWeaver 7.0 - previously known as 2004s - is the currently available main release of SAP NetWeaver, providing for example a highly scalable and solid application server as a stable foundation for the SAP Business Suite applications like SAP ERP, as well as advanced integration capabilities, for example in the areas of business intelligence or collaboration. A stronger integration of SAP NetWeaver capabilities among each other allows for example the broadcasting of BI reports to a defined group of portal users with a few mouse-clicks.

Being a main platform release, SAP NetWeaver 7.0 remains in IT landscapes for a prolonged period of time to form a stable core, i.e for SAP Business Suite applications. Both products go into a continuous innovation mode where additional features may be applied with optional enhancement packages.
