Integrated Planning

The next generation of planning tools within SAP BI will be BI- Integrated Planning. BI-Integrated Planning will allow for the ease of use of planning in the SAP BI environment, while also being fully integrated with SAP NetWeaver.

This document is focused on the choices available when implementing planning functionality.

With BI Integrated Planning, no new standard retractors are shipped, you can use retractors that work according to the pull principle without changing them, you cannot directly use retractors that work according to the push principle, and you can use retractors that work according to the push principle by configuring them in BW-BPS.
