Enterprise Services Workplace
Open the ES Workplace
The ES Workplace is the central place to view consolidated information about all available Enterprise Services delivered by SAP. It provides various entry points for different roles, from Architects to Process Experts. The ES Workplace is the starting point for SOA adoption, from discovery of services to evaluation of services and development of exemplary proof-of-concept composite applications on a freely accessible hosted SAP Business Suite system landscape for business and technology justification.
You can find additional help for implementing Enterprise Services by having a look into the corresponding simple sample applications for enterprise services consumption (Simple Sample Apps). Simple Sample Apps are available ready-to-run in the ES Workplace environment, together with technical documentation, coding, implementation models and demo data.
Based on the phase of Enterprise Service exploration you are in, you can find some additional links for experienced users below.

* On November 2nd, 2009 a new ERP back-end system will become available for the ES Workplace landscape. This system reflects the latest IDES data and Support Package version. New user accounts will automatically be created on the new system. Existing accounts will be automatically transferred to the new system. All existing users will be informed about their new initial password and the system details (URL, client, etc.) by e-mail. The old system will be retired on November 30th, 2009. Until then it can be reached with the known credentials. After that date the calls to the old ERP system will be re-directed to the new system. Please take the grace period to check if your test scenarios work against the new system.
