Branding Applications has become more and more prominent for customers. SAP NetWeaver Portal provides a Web-based tool enabling customers to adapt the look and feel of the applications to reflect their own corporate branding. Branding Web Dynpro applications (both ABAP and Java) hosted outside portal has limited offerings within the current solution. The Theme Editor, an eclipse based feature-rich light-weight tool, aims to provide a unified tooling environment for defining and maintaining custom themes for SAP applications. It can be used on top of standard Eclipse and focus on different technology flavors: Web Dynpro ABAP/Java and the existing SAP NetWeaver Portal offerings.
