  • Information consumers - These users focus on day-to-day operational activities. They also need access to BI to monitor operations and transactions in accordance with corporate strategies and policies. They have been underserved by traditional BI due to complexity, though, and they usually simply focus on consuming canned reporting. Typical examples of information consumers will be found front-line to service customers and connect with suppliers.
