This document presents arguments why any company should move from Desktop Intelligence (DeskI) to Web Intelligence (WebI). It presents feature-level reasons, as well as overall deployment-level advantages of Web Intelligence. It also addresses some major differences between the two applications. This document is complement by a second paper, called “Managing the Conversion Process”.
