The SAP Chart Designer is a tool for defining customizing settings for the Chart Engine (XMLCHART of the IGS).

It is based on IGS 6.40 / 7.00 (SAP Web Application Server 6.40 / 7.00). To use, you require SAPGUI 6.40 latest patch. Select a chart type, enter texts for the titles and change any other chart properties as required. Then save your settings in the SAP Chart Designer as an XML file.

Afterwards you can use this XML as the customizing input for your IGS chart, for example in your BSP application when using <graphics:chart>. The SAP Chart Designer is integrated in the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio also, which means it can be used for Web Dynpro applications also.
