Sherlok 1.4 Java Application Monitor

Sherlok is a Java application monitor that can show you what is happening within a program with respect to memory usage, performance of methods, contentions, and more. You can also use it for application tracing, that is to show which methods are called, including runtime information, such as call parameter arguments.

Sherlok is best used during development and testing of Java applications. Sherlok's strengths are in finding memory leaks (out-of-memory messages) and finding hot-spots (traces triggered by a threshold of time or memory being used or thread contentions).

Please read the accompanying reference guide, which provides more details on the tool and its installation and configuration. This reference guide and more documentation is available in the download package.
