The SAP JVM Profiler helps you analyze the resource consumption of your Java application running on a SAP JVM - be it a simple standalone Java application or a complex enterprise application. The Profiler consists of two parts: A backend component integrated into the SAP JVM itself and a frontend component. The backend records the resource consumption information and sends it to the frontend for further processing via the SAP JVM's debug connection. The frontend part is implemented as an Eclipse plug-in. It can be used for analyzing stand-alone and server applications. In addition, the plug-in provides source code navigation and profiling of Java projects out of Eclipse or the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio.
