The Generic iView Component automates the creation of iViews on top of any existing connector. The iViews you create with the Generic iView Component are configurable by the content administrator in design time, and executable at runtime.

The source code of the Generic iView Components is available to content developers, who can:

• Modify the generic iView and provide it to content administrators for easy creation and configuration of new iViews

• Use it as a template for creating new content
