In this article we introduce Enterprise Information Management in the context of SOA by a case study to you. We start with the discovery of SOA artifacts and integration content in the ES Repository for handling master data. Afterwards we will show how to integrate customer master data from diverse applications into SAP NetWeaver MDM. For migrating huge volumes of data SAP BusinessObjects Data Services is used which includes automated cleansing, matching and auto-merging of master data. Then the manual consolidation and building up the key mapping information is done in SAP NetWeaver MDM. Finally the cleansed data is sent via SAP NetWeaver PI to SAP NetWeaver BW.03 Aug 2009
