International SAP Utilities Conference Electrifies Participants

Energy efficiency and the future of the utilities industry were the focus of this year's conference, which took place in Munich, Germany, October 14-16. It hosted more than 1,300 international delegates from over 50 countries. The conference took a close look at current industry trends, such as energy efficiency, smart grids, e-mobility, and sustainability - and what these trends means for the future of the industry. SAP experts spoke about how SAP is responding to the trends and how SAP software, such as the SAP for Utilities solution, provides the framework for companies in this industry to get the most out of these trends.
