SAP BUSINESS PROCESS EXPERT EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

The Business Process Expert Community together with SAP Education developed a framework for creating a BPX certification program. Certification is the process of confirming that an individual complies with a specific set of requirements. These requirements can be related to the individual's knowledge and skills, to their experience in suitable work environments, and to their ability to apply their knowledge and skills under various work conditions.

The framework for BPX certification contains the following elements:
• Fundamental knowledge and skills
• Application solution and industry knowledge
• Software and IT knowledge
• Business process modelling and UI skills
• Business process management and improvement
• Relevant experience and community contributions
• Soft skills and behaviors

For each of those elements certification can be done, e.g. SAP BPM Certification for the Business Process Expert. After completing certification for all elements, the certification title of a Business Process Expert will be granted. The certification levels will be:
• BPX Associate
• BPX Professional
• BPX Master
