You can also define single sign on parameters for Nsite and Salesforce.com to call reports seamlessly from these applications. Within Salesforce.com, this functionality allows you to easily embed reports and dashboards from crystalreports.com into s-controls and tabs. You can also provide report links directly from Salesforce tabs such as Accounts or Opportunities that pass parameters to the report (like the Account Name) in order to have contextual reports.21 Mar 2008

There are a number of different ways to do this including calling a document in a tab, an s-control, or via a custom link. This report could be dynamic (so based on who and where the user is within Salesforce.com) or not dynamic (so a tab could call the same latest report instance for all users). In the attached document, we will look at what it takes to set up a dynamic report called by a Custom Link within Salesforce.com.07 Jan 2008
