OEM Product Warning

If you are a Crystal Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partner or a customer of an OEM partner, please contact the OEM partner for current file or product updates (including Hot Fixes and Service Packs). Do not apply file updates available from this site, as they are not designed to work with OEM versions of Crystal Reports® or Crystal InfoTM (formerly known as Seagate Info).

If you are using Microsoft Business Solutions CRM 1.x, do not apply Crystal Hot Fixes and Service Packs as they are not designed for this product. Critical updates specified for Microsoft Business Solutions CRM 1.x are designed for this product and can be applied.


To find out if you are using an OEM version of Crystal Reports:

Start the Report Designer. There are two indicators in the designer for determining an OEM version of Crystal Reports:

  • If the title bar of the Designer indicates Crystal Reports for a certain product (such as "Crystal Reports for Peoplesoft"), then you are using an OEM version.
  • In the "Help" menu, click the "About" entry (such as "About Crystal Reports"). If the technical support phone number in the About box is not listed as (604) 669 8379, then you are using an OEM product version.

If either of these indicators exist in your product, then you are using an OEM version of Crystal Reports.


To find out if you are using an OEM version of Crystal Info:

  1. Start the Info Desktop.
  2. On the "Help" menu, click "About Seagate Info."
  3. If it displays "Crystal Info" or "Seagate Info," then it is not an OEM product version.
