New! Navigate your ERP data with SAP BusinessObjects Explorer - We enhanced the SAP BusinessObjects Explorer with Excel Navigation prototype to be able from an ABAP report - ALV grid - to visually explore, analyze and share data inside SAP BusinessObjects Explorer. We provide two way of integration. First integration is light weight integrating SAP BusinessObjects explorer via a URL on the ALV grid - this solution is in production inside SAP and have been implemented inside SAP IT, the second integration leverage Web Dynpro Flash Island by embedding SAP BusinessObjects Explorer as an UI Element.

SAP BusinessObjects now provides a new direct access to the SAP ERP by leveraging the SAP Query and Infoset. Real-time business intelligence can reach out more data from the operational systems, allowing high level business reports to be up to date, by merging operational data with historical information. This prototype is an add-on to SAP BusinessObjects Data Federator for XI 3.0 SP2 providing connectivity to RFC enabled function, Infoset and SAP Query.
