ARC Europe

The Academic Research Center (ARC) for Europe is based in Levallois, just outside of Paris, France.

Current research partnerships at ARC Europe are described hereafter.

• The SAP BusinessObjects Academic Chair on Business Intelligence has been set up at Ecole Centrale Paris (ECP) through an ARC sponsorship. The 5-year program is targeted at joint research, teaching and training in Business Intelligence (BI). The Professors of the BusinessObjects Chair at the MAS Laboratory of ECP are Marie-Aude Aufaure (data processing, data semantics) Anastasia Bezerianos (visual analytics, user experience) and Frédéric Magoulès (high-performance computing)
• Research project at Ecole Centrale Paris on "data analysis context"
• Research project at Ecole Centrale Paris on "grid computing"
• Research project at Ecole Centrale Paris on "analysis of Social Networks"
• Research project on "User Experience in Business Intelligence" in collaboration with the ETIC team at the University of Metz
• Research project on "Enterprise Social Networks" in collaboration with INRIA
• ARC is a member of the European FP7 project VisMaster on "the future of Visual Analytics"

ARC Europe is also active in a number of "Thought Leadership" events within the academic community.
