Academic Research Centers (ARC)

ARC creates research partnerships with academia to expand the universe of business intelligence (BI) research, knowledge, and innovation.

These partnership activities include:

• Collaborating in research networks and research projects,
• Creating research partnerships with graduate students,
• Organizing workshops on BI,
• Offering BI software for education and research,
• Sponsoring and participating in academic conferences, and
• Coordinating seminars between academia and SAP BusinessObjects.

ARC complements the SAP BusinessObjects Innovation Centers by focusing on longer-term challenges, usually a 2 to 5 year term, and limiting its scope to proof-of-concept work.
